Advanced Analytics for Seller plus

Seller Plus members get access to a set of Advanced Analytics tools that go beyond the standard Overview and Repeat Business tabs available to all freelancers. These tools give you a deeper view of how your Gigs are performing in search, where your orders come from, which keywords drive the most traffic and revenue, and how to re-engage past clients. This article covers each tool and how to get the most out of it.

How to access Advanced Analytics

  1. Log in to your Fiverr freelancer account.
  2. Click Analytics in the top navigation menu.
  3. Select the analytics you want to view, switch between tabs to find what you are looking for.
Analytics navigation menu
  • Gig Performance, Orders Breakdown, and Top Keywords are filtered by Gig and time frame.
  • Keyword Research is filtered by category and subcategory.
  • Pricing Insights is only available for specific subcategories.

Use the filter drop-downs at the top of each tab to set your view.

Advanced Analytics is available to Seller Plus Standard and Premium members only. All tabs in this article are web-only, they are not accessible on the mobile app.

Top Keywords

The Top Keywords tab shows which search terms clients used to find your Gig, along with how each keyword performed across impressions, clicks, orders, and earnings.

Use it to identify your strongest keywords and make sure they are placed prominently in your Gig title, positive keywords field, and description.

Top Keywords tab
Metric What it means
Impressions How many times your Gig appeared in search results for this keyword.
Clicks How many times clients clicked on your Gig card within search results for this keyword.
CTR Your click-through rate for this keyword, how often clients clicked after seeing your Gig.
Orders Total orders from clients who found your Gig by searching this keyword.
CR Conversion rate, how often clients placed an order after clicking your Gig for this keyword.
Earnings Total revenue from orders placed through this keyword, before taxes and fees (extras included).

The # icon next to a keyword shows its personal ranking relative to your other keywords for that metric. For example, the keyword with the highest impressions is ranked #1.

How to use Top Keywords

  1. Select the Gig and time frame you want to analyze.
  2. In the "Top 10 keywords" field, choose the metric you want to sort by (impressions, clicks, orders, etc.).
  3. Identify your top-performing keywords and move the strongest ones to the front of your Gig title. The algorithm prioritizes title text first, then the positive keywords field, then the description.

Give any new or updated keywords at least 30 days before reviewing their impact and analyzing their performance.

Gig Performance

The Gig Performance tab shows how well each of your Gigs is performing in the marketplace and how it compares to similar Gigs in the same subcategory.

Gig Metrics

The top section shows your click-through rate (CTR) and conversion rate (CR) side by side with the subcategory average, so you can quickly see where you stand relative to similar freelancers.

Gig Performance tab
  • The percentage of clients who clicked on your Gig after seeing it in search results. A high CTR means your Gig card is compelling.
  • The percentage of clients who placed an order after clicking on your Gig page. A high CR means your Gig page is effective at converting interest into orders.

Performance Trendline

The trendline graph lets you track how your Gig has changed over time. Switch between two views:

  • Conversion view: Shows your CTR and CR over the selected time frame. Use this to see how changes to your Gig description or images affected conversion.
  • Performance view: Plots impressions, clicks, and orders. Use this to understand visibility trends and how Gig updates affect search exposure.

Tip: Hover over any point on the graph to see the exact data for that date. Make one change to your Gig at a time, then wait at least 30 days before reviewing the impact, this makes it easier to understand what actually moved the needle.

Orders Breakdown

The Orders Breakdown tab shows where your orders are coming from, broken down by traffic source. Use it to understand which channels are driving your business and identify sources you could lean into more.

Organic traffic Orders from clients who found your Gig through Fiverr search results or recommendations, without any paid promotion.
Fiverr Ads Orders generated through your Fiverr Ads campaigns. Learn more about Fiverr Ads.
Coupons Orders placed by clients who used a coupon you sent them. Learn more about Growth tools.
Buyer Briefs Orders placed after you were matched with a client brief.
Fiverr's Choice Orders from clients who found you through the Fiverr's Choice program.
Fiverr Pro Orders placed by Fiverr Pro clients, typically on longer-term business projects.

The tab also shows a funnel view for Organic and Fiverr Ads traffic, illustrating how clients move from impressions to clicks to orders for each source.

Keyword Research

The Keyword Research tab shows how search terms are performing across the broader Fiverr marketplace, not just for your Gig. Use it to discover high-potential keywords when creating a new Gig, expanding into a new service area, or comparing your current keywords against alternatives.

Keyword Research tab
  • Overall Rank: A combined score reflecting the keyword's overall performance across all metrics.
  • Search Volume: How often this keyword is searched compared to others. Higher is better for visibility.
  • Average Order Price: The average price of orders placed after a client searched this keyword. Higher is better for revenue.
  • Conversion Rate: How often an order is placed after a client searches this keyword. Higher is better.
  • Competition: The level of competition from other Gigs for this keyword. Lower is better.

To use Keyword Research, filter by the category and subcategory you want to analyze, then sort the results by the metric most relevant to your goal (for example, sort by Search Volume to find high-traffic terms, or by Competition to find gaps).

Note: Keyword Research shows keywords that clients use across the marketplace and may include keywords not directly related to your specific Gig. Use it as a research and discovery tool alongside Top Keywords, which shows performance data specific to your Gig.

Follow-up Messages

Follow-up Messages let you send a personalized message to past clients from your Fiverr dashboard to encourage repeat orders or introduce them to other Gigs you offer. All messages must adhere to Fiverr's Terms of Service and Community Standards.

  • Seller Plus Standard members can use up to 10 follow-up messages per month. This count resets on the start of the next month's Seller Plus billing date.
  • Seller Plus Premium members can use up to 20 follow-up messages per month. This count resets on the start of the next month's Seller Plus billing date.
  • Character limit: 250 characters per message
  • Eligible clients: Clients who completed an order with you in the last 60 days and do not have an active coupon from you.
  • One message per order: You can only send one follow-up per completed order.
  • Client opt-out: Clients can unsubscribe from follow-up messages. Once unsubscribed, they cannot re-subscribe and you will not be able to send them follow-ups.

How to send a follow-up message

  1. Go to Growth & Marketing in the top menu and select Marketing Tools.
  2. On the Follow-up Messages tab, browse or search for the client you want to contact.
  3. Choose your message type:
    • Encourage to reorder (same Gig): The client sees the last Gig they purchased. Only available if that Gig is still active.
    • Offer other Gigs: You select 1 to 3 active Gigs for the client to see. If you only have one active Gig, it is selected automatically.
  4. Write your message. Edit the Fiverr provided default template to sound personal and relevant to the client.
  5. Preview your message and the selected Gigs, then send.

Tip: Personalizing the default message, even briefly, tends to get a better response. Reference the specific project you worked on together or note something relevant to the Gig you are offering.

Once sent, the message appears in the client's inbox labeled "Follow-up from [your username]", so they can distinguish it from a regular conversation. You can review all sent follow-up messages from within your inbox.

Pricing Insights

Pricing Insights is a specialized feature for Seller Plus Standard and Premium available for three subcategories only: Logo Animation, Logo Design, and Article & Blog Posts.

This feature helps you compare your package prices against similar Gigs ordered on Fiverr in the last 30 days. The comparison includes Gigs with similar characteristics to yours, such as country, freelancer level, and order details.

The graph shows the distribution of orders across price ranges for similar packages and indicates whether your current pricing is on the higher or lower end of the market.

Price ranges reflect package prices set by freelancers and exclude extras, subscriptions, milestones, and custom offers.

Best practices

  1. Review your Gig Performance data after every significant Gig update.
  2. Change one thing at a time and wait 30 days to better understand the impact.
  3. Place your top-performing keywords (by impressions and orders) at the start of your Gig title. The algorithm weighs title text most heavily.
  4. Use Keyword Research when creating a new Gig or expanding into a new service. Look for keywords with high search volume, good conversion rate, and low competition.
  5. Use Follow-up Messages strategically; you have a limited monthly quota. Prioritize clients from high-value orders or those who may benefit most from a follow-up offer.
  6. Keep follow-up messages short, specific, and personal. The 250-character limit encourages staying brief, so use it to your advantage.
