Seller coupons

Disclaimer: Seller coupons are exclusive to Seller Plus members.

Boost your Fiverr orders with Seller Plus's exclusive Seller Coupons. This feature lets you create custom discounts to reward clients, drive sales, and promote your Gigs.

How it works

Seller Plus offers two coupon types: Repeat client and Custom offer. Standard members receive 5 monthly coupons, while Premium members receive 20. Unused coupons do not roll over and reset monthly.

• Use Repeat client coupons to encourage repeat orders. They are valid for 30 days.
  These coupons are best used if you’ve either:

  • Just delivered an order and would like to encourage your client to place a new order
  • Hope to re-engage a client you’ve worked with previously
• 1. Click on "Send coupons" in the Seller Plus tab. 
     
     
  2. In the coupon creation section, click "Create your first coupon."
     
     
  3. Set a discount (up to 30% off your original price).
     
     
  4. Choose the clients that should receive the coupon.
     Note: You have a limited amount of coupons each month, so use them wisely!
     
     
  5. Add a personal note (optional).
     Note: Although this isn’t mandatory, we highly recommend adding a note to increase your clients' engagement.
     
     
  6. Click "Send."
     
     
  7. Your selected client(s) will receive an email and a notification.
     
     
  8. When an order has been placed with a seller coupon, you will see a notification on the order page. You can also track coupon usage in the coupon dashboard.

  Note: Seller Coupons are valid for your Gigs priced over $15.

• Use Custom offer coupons to boost the likelihood of a client accepting your custom offer. They can be sent to new or repeat clients, and are valid for 24 hours.
• 1. Click "Create an offer" at the bottom of your Inbox chat with a client.
     
     
  2. Select a gig and choose 'Single payment.'
     
     
  3. At the bottom of the offer creation form, check the box for "Offer a Coupon Set a discount" (up to 30% off your original price).
     
     
  4. Click "Send."
     
     
  5. The client will receive an email and notification about the seller coupon.
     
     
  6. When an order has been placed with a seller coupon, you will see a notification on the order page. You can also track coupon usage in the coupon dashboard.

Seller Coupon Terms

• • All of Fiverr's Terms of Service apply.

  • Seller Coupons are offered directly from freelancers to clients, and not from Fiverr. Any discount offered by the seller to the client will be deducted from the published price of the Gig. The revenue of the seller will be equal to 80% of the purchase amount (following the deduction of the discounted amount).

  • Sellers have a limited number of coupons to send clients each month. If the seller has not used his monthly coupon quota, the unused quota will not carry over to the next month.

  • The Seller Coupons are valid only for purchases on Fiverr from the seller who sent the Coupon for a limited period of time, depending on the Coupon type. Specifically, Coupons that are being sent from the Coupons area are valid for a period of 30 days and coupons that are being sent from Custom Offer are valid for a period of 24 hours.

  • Seller Coupons are limited to one use per client, are personal, and are non-transferable; only the client who was sent the Seller Coupon can use it.

  • Seller Coupons cannot be used or combined with any other Fiverr promotion, such as Fiverr Credits or Fiverr Promo Codes. For orders that are composed of one or more Milestones and for Gig Subscription or other recurring services, the Seller Coupon only applies to the first payment.

  • If a client places an order with a Coupon and then, for any reason, the order is canceled, the Coupon becomes invalid.

  • For Fiverr Pro accounts, only the team member who placed the order gets the Seller Coupon; other team members are not able to use the Seller Coupon.

FAQs

• Every Seller Plus premium subscriber receives 20 coupons each month. These can be used for repeat clients or custom orders coupons.
  
  Every Seller Plus standard subscriber receives 5 coupons each month. These can be used for repeat clients or custom orders coupons.
• No. Your quota will reset to 20 coupons or 5 coupons (depending on membership status) at the start of each month, so try and use all of them each month!

• We suggest you use your coupons to:

  • Show gratitude to long-term and repeat clients
  • Help grow relationships with new clients
  • Encourage clients to order your Gigs

• Repeat clients coupons can be sent from the 'Seller Plus' tab to any of your clients who meet the following conditions: 

  • You’ve completed an order with the client within the past 12 months
  • The client left you a 4 or 5-star rating
  • The client doesn’t have an active coupon from you

  Custom offer coupons can be sent as part of a custom offer to any client who doesn’t have an active coupon from you.

• Repeat client coupons are valid for 30 days.
  Custom offer coupons are valid for 24 hours.
• Clients will be notified (via email and notification) once you send the coupon.
  
  Clients who receive a repeat client coupon will also be notified again closer to the coupon’s expiration date. Clients who receive a custom offer with a coupon will also see the custom offer coupon reflected in the offer.

• You can add a coupon to any Gig priced at $15 or more.
• Your client can order any of your Gigs or apply the coupon to any custom offers you may have offered.

• No. A client can only use a coupon once. If they use it on an order that is canceled (for any reason), the coupon will be invalid.
