The Fiverr level system is designed to reward you for providing exceptional service and growing your business. As you progress, you unlock benefits and tools that guide you toward continuous improvement, helping you reach your full potential on Fiverr.
About Fiverr’s level system
The level system is a program that recognizes your experience and performance on the platform.
- What it does: It tracks your progress across key metrics and automatically assigns you a level.
- Why it's useful: Advancing levels can increase your chances of getting orders and gives you access to beneficial features.
- Who it's for: All freelancers on Fiverr. Your level is visible to clients on Gig cards, Gig pages, and your freelancer profile.
Accessing your level overview
The Level Overview page gives you a view of your progress and shows how close you are to qualifying for the next level.
You can access it in two ways:
- Log in to your account and click on your level displayed on the top left of your dashboard.
- Navigate through the top header menu by going to “Growth & Marketing” and then clicking on “Level Overview”.
Level criteria & metrics
Your level is determined by your performance across six key metrics and certain criteria.
Performance Metrics
- This analyzes your Gigs in key areas related to the order process and your relationship with clients, relative to other freelancers. Your overall Success Score is determined by the individual scores of each Gig. Learn more about the Success score.
- This reflects the average of all ratings provided by clients you have worked with over the past two years. The rating displayed on your profile, however, reflects your all-time ratings. Learn more with Reviews and ratings for freelancers.
- This shows how often you replied to new messages within 24 hours over the last 90 days. Learn more with Best practices for Fiverr freelancers.
- This shows the total number of orders you have completed on Fiverr.
- This is the number of different clients you have worked with on Fiverr. Each client counts once, regardless of the number of orders they have placed.
- This metric shows your total earnings on Fiverr. Learn more with Your earnings page.

Progress tracker & leveling
The progress tracker provides an at-a-glance view of your journey in the level system and allows you to see how close you are to qualifying for the next level.
- To move up to Level 1 or Level 2, you must meet the criteria in all six metrics. Once you qualify, you'll move up automatically within 24 hours. To progress to Top Rated, you will also need to pass a manual evaluation to confirm your eligibility.
- If your performance drops below the criteria for your current level, you will enter a 30-day grace period.
- For Level 1 or Level 2 freelancers: If you cannot improve your stats during the grace period, you will move down to the level that corresponds with your current metrics.
- For Top Rated freelancers: If you cannot improve your stats during the grace period, your account will be reviewed to determine if you can remain Top Rated or need to move to a lower level.
- If your metrics fall below the criteria for Level 1, you will move to Level 0.
- If your Success Score drops to a critically low level, your account will be labeled low performance, and your visibility on the platform will be affected.
Your level may change at any time due to periodic evaluations.

Troubleshooting level risks
While your freelancer level is determined by your performance, your behavior on the platform determines your participation in the level system. A breach of our policies can affect your participation in the leveling system in one of the following ways:
-
- Your account’s leveling may be placed on hold due to certain violations of our policies.
- While on hold, you can still receive orders, but you are not able to progress in the level system while the warning is active.
- Certain benefits may be revoked during On hold status.
- FAQs Despite being on hold, you can still be moved to a lower level if your performance drops.
-
- An account flagged for strong indications of suspicious activity will be excluded from the level system.
- This includes behaviors that suggest an attempt to manipulate the platform or bypass Fiverr’s policies, such as connections to multiple accounts, the use of unauthorized methods, or any actions that compromise the marketplace’s security and integrity.
We recommend reviewing our Community Standards for more on our policies and how to adhere to them.
FAQs
- This system offers more clarity and growth tools. Key changes include a focus on six performance metrics: rating, response rate, orders, unique clients, earnings, and Success Score. Metrics such as seniority, days without warnings, order completion rate, and on-time deliveries are no longer directly related to your level status.
- Yes, it is easier to move up and more difficult to be moved down. Once you qualify in all six metrics for Level 1 and Level 2, you can move up by the next day, with an additional review for Top Rated. If any metrics drop, you enter a 30-day grace period to improve your stats before being moved down.
- Pro freelancers can be part of this level system on Fiverr.com, where their level status depends on their metrics and performance.
- You will lose access to certain benefits, with exceptions for milestone payments, portfolio, intro video, and top clients.
- Advancing levels can increase your chances of receiving orders and unlocking beneficial features. However, many factors determine the number of orders, with your level being one of them.
- Yes, if you are a Pro or Agency freelancer, your level is determined by the same performance metrics as all other freelancers.
