Using Fiverr MCP in your AI agent

Find the right freelancer without leaving your AI chat. The Fiverr Model Context Protocol (MCP) server lets your AI agent search Fiverr's marketplace, compare freelancers, and scope a project with Mira directly in your conversation. Clients find freelancers faster, and freelancers gain another way to be found. Anyone can add it as a connector for free.

Before you begin

You do not need a Fiverr account, login, or API key to search with Fiverr MCP. It works the same way logged-out browsing works on Fiverr. You need to add Fiverr MCP to your AI app before you can use it. You sign in or sign up on Fiverr only when you take a brief to Fiverr or when we redirect you to Fiverr.

Fiverr MCP search functionality

How the search works

You ask your AI agent in your own words, and the agent searches Fiverr for you. Your agent picks the right tool from your request, so you never need to name a tool yourself. You need to describe what you are looking for in your prompt.

If your prompt is general, such as "Find me a freelancer," the AI agent asks for specifics. For example, it asks what kind of freelancer you want and what you need the freelancer to do. Better briefs return better matches.

Search results & filters

The AI agent shows up to five freelancer cards per search. Each card shows the freelancer's name, photo, and key details. The profiles are the same profiles that appear in on-site search. Fiverr MCP is a new way in, not a separate pool of talent.

You can ask your AI agent to refine results by:

• Delivery time
• Level
• Language
• Location

You can also ask your agent to compare freelancers or read their reviews.

Available Fiverr MCP tools

Fiverr MCP has the following tools:

• find_freelancers searches for freelancers based on a project description. You describe the work in plain language and can add filters.
• Get additional freelancer information
  • get_seller_profile shows the background, location, and languages of a named freelancer. You provide the freelancer's Fiverr username.
  • list_seller_gigs shows the services a freelancer currently has published, with prices.
  • get_seller_reviews_summary shows a freelancer's overall rating and review count.
  • list_seller_reviews shows the text of what past clients wrote, newest first or ranked by relevance.

Cost

Connecting and searching are free. Standard Fiverr fees apply only if you place an order with a matched freelancer, at that freelancer's listed price.

Viewing a profile & ordering

When you click View Profile, we redirect you to the Fiverr website. There, you continue with the standard process of contacting the freelancer or placing an order.

Fiverr MCP search is read-only. Your AI agent can search, compare, and scope, but it cannot hire or pay a freelancer for you. You place the order and pay on Fiverr.

Fiverr MCP for freelancers

Fiverr MCP gives freelancers a new way to be found by clients who start their search inside an AI app. It has no extra cost and needs no setup.

Mira in Fiverr MCP

Fiverr MCP includes two Mira capabilities. Mira is the headhunter you use when you want help with the hiring itself, such as what kind of talent you need, what it could cost, or how to write the brief.

• Talk_to_mira runs the conversation. Mira asks you a few questions, and your answers go back to her. She builds a brief with you. Each conversation covers one hiring need. If you need a second, unrelated role, start a new conversation.
• Take_brief_to_mira hands off your brief. When your brief is ready, it returns a link to sign in or sign up for Fiverr, and your brief moves into your account. Mira opens it there, ready to go. You see matches, get quotes, and hire freelancers on Fiverr, not in the chat.

How to use Fiverr MCP

Follow these quick and easy steps to install Fiverr MCP in ChatGPT or Claude.

  1. Open ChatGPT and go to Plugins.
  2. Search for Fiverr.
  3. Click the + icon to install the integration.
  4. Click Try now and start using Fiverr through ChatGPT.

  2. Search for Fiverr and click Connect.
