Paying for orders, extras, or custom offers

Paying for an order

  1. Once you have found the Gig that you would like to order, click "Continue."
  2. You will see the option to edit your purchase and customize your order according to your requirements and preferences. This includes adding additional services, and/or increasing the number of Gigs you would like to purchase.
  3. Once you've customized your order, click "Order now". You will be redirected to the payment options page, where you can select your preferred payment method. On the right side of the page, you will see the breakdown of the Gig's price, any applicable taxes, and fees. If you have a discount code, be sure to input it here.
  4. Click "Confirm & pay" and your order will be processed, you will be charged, and the order page will be created.

Important: Depending on your country, you may be required to enter additional information during the payment process for certain transactions. This is a mandatory requirement in some regions for payment processing purposes.
To make purchases from the countries below, clients will need to add the following mandatory information, in compliance with their country's regulations:  
US → Zip Code 
Canada → Billing information
Brazil  → 
Businesses: CNPJ number (Cadastro Nacional da Pessoa Jurídica)
Individuals: CPF number (Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas) 
Philippines → PSN number (Philippine Identification System [PhilSys])
India → PAN (Permanent Account Number)

Paying for an extra on an ongoing order

  1. To add a seller's available extra to your order, click on orders from the order page.
  2. Click on the Gig title.
  3. Select continue and mark the box under “Upgrade your order with extras” which will display the extras that are available for that particular service.
  4. Click on the confirm and pay button to purchase the extra.

Notes

  • Keep in mind that extras may modify your order's delivery timeframe. 
  • Certain extras may also be unavailable after the main order is purchased (such as the fast extra). 
  • Other extras, such as the premium quality images, may only be purchased once throughout the order, while others can be purchased multiple times.

Paying for a custom offer

  1. When a seller sends you a custom offer or a quote, you will see the relevant button to complete the purchase.
  2. If the extra is purchased through an active order page, the funds will be credited to that particular order. If it's a new offer, a new order page will be created.

Paying for a subscription

  1. Subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis. You can cancel your subscription at any time, however the cancellation will be effective at the end of the current billing cycle.
  2. When subscribing, you will need to tick the checkbox stating that you understand the payment will be automatically renewed every month.

Paying for services on the mobile app

There are many ways you can pay for services on Fiverr. Choose the option that works best for you.

The following are payment methods on Fiverr:

  • This is the preferred payment option on Fiverr. You can make purchases using any major credit/debit card.

    Note: After your first purchase, this will be saved as a payment method for faster checkout, without having to enter your credentials every time. 
  • This is a mobile payments service and digital wallet app that initiates secure payment transactions between contactless payment terminals and Apple iOS devices.
  • Google Pay lets you access credit cards that are safely stored in your Google account. The credit card is shared across devices, so (for example), one that was stored in Chrome will be available in mobile payments through Google Pay, and vice versa.
  • As a logged-in user, you can connect your Venmo account with your Fiverr account.
  • As a logged-in user, you can connect your PayPal account with your Fiverr account.

    Note: PayPal is not available for use in all countries. Check countries that accept PayPal. US clients can pay with PayPal Buy Now Pay Later on eligible orders.

What is a service fee?

At checkout, a service fee is included to cover Fiverr's administrative costs. You'll be able to see and approve the final amount before you pay. This fee applies to every payment you make, so if your order involves multiple transactions like adding extras or tipping, each will have its own service fee. The standard service fee is 5.5% of the purchase price, and a $3.50 fee is added to orders under $200.
