Using projects to organize orders and collaborate with your team

Projects lets you organize your orders, collaborate with team members, and track spending across multiple initiatives. As a Fiverr Pro account member, you can create different project types, invite collaborators, and manage all your orders from one place. This article covers how to create and manage projects, invite members, handle orders, and access your project deliveries.

Before you begin

  1. Available to Fiverr Pro account members, including admins, billing managers, and members.
  2. All account members can create new projects.

Types of projects

There are three project types. Choose the one that fits your needs.

Public project

A public project is visible to all account members. Anyone in the account can join by clicking Join project without an invitation.

  • Only the project owner can invite collaborators.
  • All new orders in the public project will be automatically shared with all project collaborators.
  • You can change the share option to all members but, once shared, you cannot unshare it.

Private project

A private project is only visible to its collaborators. Any member can create a private project, but joining requires an invitation from the project owner.

  • All new orders are automatically shared with project members.
  • Once you share a private project with account members, you cannot make it private again.

To make a project private:

  1. Create your project.
  2. On your project page, click the ellipsis from the upper-right corner.
  3. Click Edit project details.
  4. Enable the Private project toggle.

My project

My project is a personal workspace for tasks only you can see. It is created automatically for every account member and cannot be duplicated.

  • You can't invite other members to this project as collaborators, and the default sharing option for orders in this project is only me.
  • Orders in My project are visible only to you by default.
  • You can share individual orders with your team by moving the order outside of 'My project' into a private or public project.

  2. Enter a project name. A description is optional.
  3. Turn on the privacy toggle if you want the project to be private.
  4. Click Close. You are taken to your new project page.
  5. Click the Share button to add collaborators.

Inviting members

Only project owners can invite members to a project. You can send an invitation by email from the Projects dashboard or the order page.

  • New members must be associated with both the project and the Fiverr Pro account.
  • Once added to a project, a member can also invite additional collaborators.
  • Project owners and members who are associated with the project can remove other members, including the project owner.

Orders

Order sharing

How orders are shared depends on the project type.

  • Public and private projects: All new orders are automatically shared with all project collaborators.
  • My project: New orders are only visible to you by default.

You can change the sharing scope to All members at any time. Once shared, you cannot unshare an order.

Fiverr Pro orders & personal orders

  • The Orders menu shows your Fiverr Pro orders. If you migrated an existing Fiverr account to Fiverr Pro, your previous marketplace orders are also visible here, and they will also appear in your My project space by default.
  • Admins can see all orders placed by account members that are public or shared.
  • Order details include the freelancer name, extras ordered, total cost, and order status.
  • You can filter orders by project in the Orders page.

Project deliveries

All deliverables from project orders are stored in a dedicated Deliveries tab within each project.

  • Download all deliverables as a ZIP file with one click.
  • Filter deliveries by collaborator or order date.
  • Click the preview icon on any service card to open the Collaboration window to comment on the delivery file for the freelancer to view. This is only available while the order is active.

You can use the Team Comments tool on the order page to collaborate with other team members who have access to the order regarding deliveries and the project as a whole. These comments are visible only to your team; freelancers cannot see them and will not receive notifications, as this is a Fiverr Pro feature designed for internal team collaboration.

What your Projects page looks like

  • You see two tables on your Projects page.

Your projects: This tab will show 3 types of projects:

    • Projects you're in: Projects in which you are a collaborator (created by you or you were added by others). This includes your personal projects.
    • Projects you can join: You can see all the public projects within your account. You may join any public project by clicking Join.
    • Completed: Projects that include past orders that you or other collaborators marked as completed.

    Projects you can view:

    • Their own personal projects.
    • Private collaborative projects.

You can see project names, collaborators, total orders, and spending. You cannot access personal projects or private projects unless you are invited.

    • Projects you're in: Projects where you are a collaborator, including your personal project.
    • Projects you can join: All public projects in the account.
