Collaboration tool: Communicating on an active order

Use the collaboration tool to easily review files within an active order.

In order to discuss file content faster and more efficiently, both buyers and sellers can leave comments on image, audio, and video files. Audio and/or video files can be time-stamped, so that all participants know the exact part being referred to.

Reading and responding to file comments

Note: You can upload files up to 5GB.

  1. In an active order, a seller can attach a file in the order's conversation (with a buyer).
  2. Both buyers and sellers can copy and paste the file link into any preferred collaboration tool.
  3. A buyer can open the file and send it back with comments for specific points in the file.
  4. When a seller gets a message from a buyer, they can click on it to open the file.
  5. On the right-hand side, buyers and sellers can see the various comments.
  6. Click the comment to view the details, including the time stamp.
  7. Write your replies and click Submit All Comments.

Inviting third parties to comment on files

Buyers can ask other people (Fiverr users or not) to view and comment on the files sent by a seller.  Collaboration works the same way as described above but a seller won't see the third party's comments—only the buyer can see them.

To invite someone to collaborate on your order files:

  1. Click Share > Add an email address.
  2. They'll get an invite.
  3. You can start notating the files.
