In order to discuss file content faster and more efficiently, both clients and freelancers can leave comments on image, audio, and video files. Audio and/or video files can be time-stamped, so that all participants know the exact part being referred to.
Use the collaboration tool to easily review files within an active order.
Reading and responding to file comments
- In an active order, a freelancer can attach a file in the order's conversation (with a client).
- Both clients and freelancers can copy and paste the file link into any preferred collaboration tool.
- A client can open the file and send it back with comments for specific points in the file.
- When a freelancer gets a message from a client, they can click on it to open the file.
- On the right-hand side, clients and freelancers can see the various comments.
- Click the comment to view the details, including the time stamp.
- Write your replies and click "Submit all comments."
Note: You can upload files up to 5GB.
Inviting third parties to comment on files
Clients can ask other people (Fiverr users or not) to view and comment on the files sent by a freelancer. Collaboration works the same way as described above but a freelancer won't see the third party's comments—only the client can see them.
To invite someone to collaborate on your order files:
- Click "Share" and add an email address.
- They will then get an invite.
- After, you can start notating the files.
