UGC video service guidelines

We added a new subcategory, UGC Videos, to our Video & Animation category.

This new subcategory offers buyers the opportunity to match with sellers who will provide content personalized for their needs.

UGC (user-generated content) videos are an authentic way to engage viewers, creating opportunities for businesses and brands to offer compelling content created by real people that can resonate with their target audience. UGC videos can range from product reviews and testimonials to travel vlogs and tutorials. They offer numerous benefits for businesses, including building trust, increasing engagement, and expanding brand reach.

We understand that this is a new and exciting area full of possibilities. To maintain a fair and trustworthy marketplace, our users must keep the following in mind when offering or acquiring UGC video services:

  • Make sure the content is not intended to mislead viewers, provide fake reviews, or spread falsehoods or misinformation.
  • Do not pretend to be a licensed professional, either by verbally stating it or by leading the viewer to make a false assumption, thereby deceiving the user. For example, if you are not a doctor or scientist, do not wear a lab coat to mislead the viewer into thinking you are one.
  • If you are sharing UGC videos on social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.), make sure to follow each platform’s guidelines and rules for paid partnerships and promotions, including adding any relevant disclaimers and commercial disclosures.
