We value every member of our community and aim to create a respectful, inclusive, and safe space for all.
If you encounter a Gig or behavior that violates Fiverr's Community Standards, we encourage you to report it. Users can report specific messages, Gigs, or video calls that may violate our community standards, but it's not possible to report a user as a whole.
Fiverr's reporting tools are intended for policy violations only and cannot be used for order disputes or dissatisfaction with services. For assistance with disputes or service concerns, please contact Customer Support.

What happens after you submit a report
When you report an item, Fiverr’s Trust and Safety team will review it to determine if it violates our policies.
- If no violation is found, no action will be taken.
- If a violation is confirmed, Fiverr will take appropriate action and notify the user privately.
Reporting the same violation multiple times or falsely classifying reports is considered misuse of our reporting tools and may lead to measures being taken against the abuser.
Reporting and privacy
Unless required by law, the individual being reported will not be informed of who submitted the report.
For EU Residents
In accordance with EU laws, when reporting cases involving child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexual exploitation, abuse, human trafficking, nudity, adult content, or sexual advances, you can choose to keep your report confidential.
Fiverr’s team will thoroughly investigate each report, and you’ll receive a personal response regarding the outcome.
If you wish to appeal a decision, contact Customer Support using the Contact Us tab at the bottom of the page.
Misuse of reporting tools policy
We have a robust process for taking action against content and accounts on Fiverr that breach our policies. In cases of misuse of our reporting tools, we may take enforcement actions to maintain the integrity of our platform.
To ensure fairness and transparency, users are informed of our reporting policy before submitting a report through a disclaimer that outlines what constitutes appropriate use of our reporting tools.
Misusing our reporting tools - especially by falsely categorizing reports as sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or terrorism - undermines our efforts and will result in the report not being processed, as well as the reporter being permanently suspended.
Additionally, for cases involving CSAM or terrorism, we provide the option to submit confidential reports to ensure the safety of those reporting. Falsely submitting confidential reports may also result in enforcement actions.
In cases of misuse of our reporting tools, we may take the following measures:
Account Warning
Users who frequently submit reports in violation of this policy may receive a warning. Fiverr reserves the right to review and process reports at its discretion.
Account Suspension
Severe or repeated misuse of Fiverr’s reporting tools may result in account suspension. This decision is made on a case-by-case basis.
Examples of severe violations include:
- Falsely categorizing reports as sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or terrorism
- Submitting repeated false reports despite previous warnings.
- Intentionally submitting false reports to target specific users.
- Mass reporting content without valid reasons to manipulate enforcement actions.
- Submitting reports with misleading or fabricated proof.
- Exploiting the reporting system for competitive advantage (e.g., falsely reporting competitors' services to harm their business).
- Using multiple accounts and/or automating the submission of reports to evade this policy.
By maintaining the integrity of our reporting system, we ensure a safer and more trustworthy environment for all users.
