The Logo Maker gives you the ability to experiment with an endless amount of logo variations in a simple and convenient way.

One way to diversify your logo variations is by experimenting with different fonts. A larger diversity of font options might spark a client’s inspiration and imagination for what the logo could look like when applying different fonts—and will likely increase the chances of drawing a client’s attention to your logo.

We encourage you to explore each edit feature, try new things, and have different options/variations—even with something as simple as varied typography. Don’t worry, we’ve got some helpful tips to help you with your creative journey.

Logo Maker Typography feature tips

The Logo Maker typography features include text/font, case, curve, alignment, position, rotation, letter spacing, color, and stroke.

Helpful terminology

Alignment Toolset
Use the Alignment Toolset to properly align your text in each variation, in order for clients with longer names to avoid running into issues with covering up other elements or going outside the boundaries/edges of the logo.

  • Set the alignment in the proper direction (“center”, “left to right”, or “right to left”)
To ensure your logo looks good for different lengths of brand names, make sure to align your text according to your design layout.

  • Think about different name lengths
Some brand names or companies can be as short as 3 characters or as long as a few words. Please keep in mind the average length of a business name on Fiverr logo maker is 12-15 letters long (slightly longer than Brand Name) and will "slip out" of the layout if you don't set the alignment.

For example: If your logo is placed to the right of the text, align your text from “left to right”, so that a client’s Brand Name and Slogan won’t overlap with your logo and design elements.

Curve
This enables you to physically curve the text, so that you can shape it around elements.
Curved text can add a unique touch, however, we recommend that you:

  • Take different lengths of text into consideration
  • Use this tool cautiously, since it can be overwhelming to read text that is shaped

Position

This enables you to set where the text will be physically placed in relation to the artboard—including the direction. For example, if you set the alignment to the center, the text will align itself to the center of the center.

Slogan
Slogans aren’t mandatory, however, we do recommend having a slogan option to accommodate all of the client’s potential needs.

  • Use the Trash Can icon to delete the slogan
  • Use the Square icon, found at the top left, to add the slogan back in
