Using your Fiverr Portfolio

Your Fiverr Portfolio helps potential clients understand your skills, experience, and working style. By sharing past projects within Fiverr and outside of Fiverr, you can build trust and show what clients can expect when working with you.

What you can include in your Portfolio

Your portfolio can include two types of content, Portfolio projects and Reviews with files (Live Portfolio).

The project order of your Portfolio will be:

  1. Your top 2 selected Portfolio projects
  2. The 3 most recent Reviews with files
  3. Remaining items, ordered by relevance and recency
  • Manually added projects that can be from Fiverr or external work.
  • Samples pulled automatically from completed Gig deliveries, if the Live Portfolio feature is enabled.
    • Enable Live Portfolio for each relevant Gig under My BusinessGigs
    • Only image or video files from your last 20 deliveries are eligible

How to add a Portfolio project

Templates and tips for Portfolio projects

  • Use this structure to keep titles clear and consistent:

[Client or brand name] – [Project focus or type]

    Examples:

    • Nike Women’s Division – Fall Marketing Campaign
    • ABC Tech – Website Redesign
    • Gourmet Delights – Product Launch Advertising

Note: For videos, the first frame is automatically used as the thumbnail and can’t be changed.

  • Use the following format to provide helpful context:

    • Client: Who the project was for
    • Goals: What needed to be achieved
    • Challenges: Any constraints or issues
    • Solutions: Your approach or process
    • Outcome: Results or impact (include metrics if available)

    Example description:

    Client: ABC Tech

Goals: Redesign an outdated website to improve usability and increase lead generation.

Challenges: Unclear navigation and poor mobile responsiveness.

Solutions: Conducted a UX audit, restructured the content, and implemented a mobile-first design using Figma and Webflow.

Outcome: Bounce rate decreased by 40%, session duration increased by 55%, and inbound leads grew by 30% within two months.

  • Consider including:

    • Mockups or prototypes that show work in context
    • Process visuals such as sketches, wireframes, or mood boards
    • Behind-the-scenes images of your setup or workflow
    • Animations, motion graphics, or short video clips
    • Full branding systems (logos, colors, typography, applications)
    • Alternate versions or iterations to show flexibility
    • Personal or experimental projects that highlight your style

A well-curated visual portfolio should highlight both your final results and your creative process.

  • You can still make your work easy to understand by adding visuals such as:
    • Screenshots of tools, platforms, or applications
    • Diagrams or flowcharts for systems and processes
    • Slides or presentations explaining your work
    • Charts or data visualizations
    • Short video demos showing projects in action

The goal is to help potential clients quickly understand the value and impact of your work, even if they’re not technical experts.

Portfolio projects: Do’s and Dont’s

A strong Portfolio builds trust and sets clear expectations. Keep these best practices in mind.

✅ Do ❌ Don't
Provide context: explain the problem, goal, and solution Be vague about your contribution
Clearly describe your role and responsibilities Overload projects with unnecessary details
Include measurable results when possible Skip explaining your thought process
Use professional and appropriate visuals to support your explanation Share private or confidential client information
Keep your portfolio up to date Upload unlicensed or non-original content
Upload only work you own or have permission to share Include objectionable or inappropriate material
Follow Fiverr’s Policies and Terms of Service Share sensitive information such as contact details or IDs
