Depositing funds into your Fiverr Pro balance allows you to manage your budget upfront and streamline your team's purchasing process. This feature helps you avoid multiple small charges on your payment methods and prevents potential payment issues during checkout.

Fiverr Pro admins and billing managers can deposit funds directly into a shared team balance. These funds are used to pay for orders placed by the team, ensuring a smoother procurement workflow.

  • What it does: Allows you to pre-fund your account using credit cards or bank transfers.
  • Why it's useful: Consolidates payments into larger, manageable deposits and ensures funds are ready for immediate project starts.
  • Who it's for: This payment option is exclusively for Fiverr Pro admins and billing managers.

Before you begin

  • Eligibility: You must be an admin or have admin billing capabilities to make deposits.
  • Minimum amount: The minimum deposit amount is $1,000 USD or the equivalent in your local currency.
  • Account activity: Funds become unavailable if an account remains inactive for 2 years and 9 months. If this occurs, contact Customer Support to retrieve the funds.

Functionality & behavior

When you deposit funds, they are held in your Fiverr Pro balance until they are used for a purchase.

  • Fees & taxes: We do not charge a service fee for making a deposit, and no government taxes are taken from the deposit amount. However, we do not cover external fees charged by your bank, and currency exchange fees apply if you deposit in a currency other than USD.
  • Receipts vs. Invoices: We issue a proforma receipt for the deposit itself. Official invoices are issued for each individual order purchase per request.
  • Manual Review: Bank and wire transfers require our payments team's manual review before the funds appear in your balance.

How to deposit funds

  1. Go to the Billing & payments page.
  2. Select the Deposit funds option.
  3. Enter the amount you wish to deposit (minimum $1,000 USD).
  4. Select your preferred deposit method:

    • Credit Card: Enter your card details and click Make a deposit. Your balance will update immediately.
    • Bank/Wire Transfer: Enter your business name, website, contact person, and email address. Click Next to view the bank details.
  5. If using a bank transfer, complete the transaction through your bank using the provided details.

Best practices

  • Add your email: Always provide your email address during the bank transfer process to ensure you receive your transfer confirmation and bank details.
  • Check local support: Ensure your chosen transfer method (like ACH in the USA or SEPA in the Eurozone) matches your business location to avoid delays.
  • Plan ahead: Since wire transfers can take up to 5 business days, make deposits well in advance of urgent project deadlines.

  • Eligibility for credit card deposits is determined by automated security requirements to prevent fraud. If the option is not visible, please use the available bank or wire transfer methods.
  • No, PayPal is currently not available for direct deposits into the Fiverr Pro balance.
