Team Comments Tool

The Team comments tool is a feature available to Fiverr Pro clients that enables account members to share orders and communicate with each other directly on the order page.

Overview

• What it is: Allows account members to leave comments for other members, open threads, and tag the members directly on the order page.
• Why is it useful: Keeps discussions organized among the account members regarding an order. It also ensures that only account members with access to the order receive notifications, minimizing noise and speeding up collaboration.
• Who it is for: Account members who need to share feedback or coordinate tasks with each other on active orders.

How to share an order for collaboration

Before you begin using the Team comments tool, ensure the order is shared with your team. To share the order:

1. Navigate to the order page.
2. Click the Share button in the top-right corner of the order page.
3. Select the option to share with the team.
4. Click on Share for confirmation.

Note: By default, your order is already shared with the project collaborators. To change the scope to include all members, press the Share button.

How to Create and Manage Team Comments

Below is how to create new comments and notify specific team members using mentions.

Creating a New Comment

1. Click on the Team comments button in the top right corner of the order page to start a conversation with your account members about the order.
2. Click on the Add Comments button at the bottom of the drawer.
3. Add the comments and content you wish to share with your collaborators, then click Post.
   • • Adding a new comment automatically opens a new thread.
4. Collaborators (aka Account members) can reply within the thread you started or open a new comment to begin a separate thread.

Mentioning Specific Account Members

To ensure specific account members are notified:

1. In your comment, type the "@" symbol.
2. Follow the symbol with the collaborator's name (e.g., @Name). You can mention multiple collaborators in a single comment.
3. The collaborator(s) mentioned will receive a notification.

Limitations to the Team Comments Tool

The Team comments tool is a great way to communicate with your team directly on the order page. Nevertheless, it’s essential to keep in mind the following limitations:

• These comments are visible only to account members and do not appear on the freelancer’s end.
• At this time, the feature doesn’t support multiple team members communicating with the freelancer or managing the order. Only the member who placed the order can message the freelancer and handle order-related actions.
