Setting your availability

Need a break? Fiverr's improved unavailability feature lets you set a time frame when you can't receive new orders or messages. Your Gigs will remain visible, and you'll automatically be available again when your break ends.

Setting your availability

  1. After logging in, click your profile image and select "Dashboard" from the menu.
  2. On your profile page, below your personal information, click the "Availability" button to schedule your unavailable dates.
Note: Once you click the 'Set your availability' button, a pop-up will open, where you can provide additional details.

  4. When you are unavailable, you can opt to receive messages from all clients to ensure that you don't miss any exciting collaborations. If you want to allow all clients to contact you while unavailable, switch on the All buyers can contact me toggle.

  1. You can change your availability settings, including your return time, on your profile page (either in the banner or the profile section).

How it works for messages, orders, and the client experience

To ensure transparency, when clients view your profile, gig page, or conversations, it will be clearly indicated that you are currently out of the office.

Here are some things to keep in mind when using the 'Availability' feature:

    • Clients will not be able to place a new order when you are marked as out of the office.
    • Clients can't accept custom offers if your Set your availability status is set to “pause”. Your client will receive a pop up letting them know that you are unavailable and there is no option to accept the custom offer.
    • Clients will only be able to contact you if you have specified that you want to receive messages while out of the office, unless they have an active order.

These updates aim to provide a better experience for both freelancers and clients, ensuring effective communication and managing expectations. We believe these improvements will further strengthen your professional relationships and contribute to your overall success on Fiverr.
