Using Notifications on the mobile app

Your inbox is where you receive messages regarding your Gigs (as a freelancer) or from your freelancers (as a client). You can label your messages, star them, archive, delete or block the other user.

To perform actions in your inbox:

  1. From the main menu, click on the 'envelope' icon for your 'Inbox'.
  2. To view a specific conversation, click on it from the list of conversations in your inbox.

Click the filter icon at the top right of your screen to see these options:

  • To see all conversations.
  • To see all unread conversations in your view. This is also available within individual messages.
  • To see all conversations you marked with a star.
    To mark an important conversation, click the 'Star' icon next to it. This is also available within individual messages.
  • To see all archived conversations in your view.
    To move conversations to the archive, long tap the email(s), and select 'Archive'. This is also available within individual messages.
  • Here, you can view conversations that were flagged as spam.
  • To see a view of all conversations in which you sent a custom offer.
  • By selecting one or more conversations, you can click 'Change labels', and then create a follow-up label to help you keep track of your communications. Click 'Follow-up' to filter and see a list of all conversations you have to follow up on.
  • By selecting one or more conversations, you can click 'Change labels', and then create a nudge label to help you keep track of your communications. You can click 'Nudge' to filter and see a list of all conversations you have marked with this label.

Within each inbox conversation, you can click the ellipsis (...) in the upper right corner to:

  • Star
  • Mark unread
  • Change labels
  • Archive
  • Block
  • Delete

Note: Once you click on a message from a user, you can see the user's status at the top of the screen (i.e., online or away).
