We understand that people don't always connect perfectly. Whether it's differing communication styles, unmet expectations, or simply a desire to manage your interactions, Fiverr provides options for users to control their experience. Both clients and sellers have the ability to block communication and orders from specific users.
To block a user:
The method for blocking a user generally involves using the communication features within your inbox or an active order page. Once a user has been blocked:
-
They will be unable to communicate with you.
-
They will not be able to place new orders with you (if you are a freelancer).
-
They will not be able to send you offers (if you are a client).
-
They will be unable to view your Gigs or your profile.
You can choose to unblock a user at any time by accessing the same blocking feature and clicking "Unblock."
- To block a client, you can typically use the inbox actions feature visible in your message threads.
- Clients can also block freelancers, often through direct messages or from the order page.
