Managing your Gigs

Gaining comprehensive insight into your Gig's performance begins with mastering its dedicated dashboard. This guide is designed to walk you through the intricacies of navigating this interface and analyzing the critical statistics it provides, enabling a data-driven approach to your success.

Gig limit

All Gig statuses except deleted and automation Gigs (e.g. logo maker / Consultation Gigs) are taken into account for the number of Gigs.

    • New: 4 Gigs
    • Level 1: 10 Gigs
    • Level 2: 10 Gigs
    • Top Rated: 30 Gig

Understanding Gig statuses

Fiverr classifies Gigs using statuses. To check the status of your Gigs and see if they are active or under a different status, simply click on "My Business" and select "Gigs."

  • Your Gig is visible and currently available in the marketplace to be ordered by all users.
  • Gig is pending Fiverr's review and is not yet available. The review may take a few days.
  • Your Gig needs to be modified per the instructions provided in your account before it goes live.
  • You need to finish editing your Gig before it goes live.
  • Your Gig failed to pass our review and is not visible to anyone. You can create a new Gig that meets our Community Standards and Terms of Service.
  • No one can see your Gig. You may reactivate it whenever you like.

Remember: Gig positions are not permanent and can rotate daily. Customer Support can’t manually upgrade the gig’s search position.

  • Note: This feature is only available on Android and Gigs can't be created through the app at this time.

To view statuses on your Gig:
    • Click on the right-most Account Page tab in the bottom navigation bar > My Gigs
In the My Gigs page, you have the following statuses:
    • Active: These are your Gigs that are currently available in the Fiverr marketplace.
    • Paused: These are your Gigs that are not available. You can select these Gigs and make them active. If they contain video, they will need to be approved first.
    • Draft: These are the Gigs that you haven't published yet.
To take action on a Gig:
    • Select the Gig and then select an action (e.g., Activate, Pause, or Delete).

Performing actions on a Gig

    1. Select the checkbox located next to the desired Gig in the list.

    2. Choose the appropriate action (e.g., PAUSEACTIVATEDELETE, etc.) from the available options.
Note: You can also share your Gig, add a video or manage your portfolio.

    1. Click on the Gig's title in the list on the 'My Gigs' page.

    2. Scroll down to view various statistics pertinent to that Gig.

General analytics

By default, the statistics presented reflect data from the past 30 days. For a visual representation of these trends, you can view them in a graph format further down the page.

Here are the key metrics you'll find:

  • This metric indicates the number of times your Gig's thumbnail appeared to users on Fiverr. This includes appearances on the homepage, category/subcategory pages, search results, and user profile pages.
  • This represents the number of times users clicked on your Gig's thumbnail after seeing it in their feed or search results (i.e., clicks originating from impressions).
  • This shows the total number of orders received specifically for this Gig.
  • This is the cancellation rate for the Gig, calculated as the number of all types of canceled orders divided by the total number of orders for this Gig.
  • This area provides the option to manage any service plans (subscriptions, milestones, etc.), if the Gig is eligible.

Note: You can filter these statistics by specific timeframes, such as days or months. Arrows displayed next to each numerical statistic indicate performance trends: a red arrow signifies a decrease compared to the previous selected period, while a green arrow indicates an increase.
For example, if you select "LAST 7 DAYS," the arrows will show the trend compared to the preceding 7 days.

Gig translations

Note: This is only offered for selected German and French freelancers. More languages may be added in the future. Other criteria such as high-quality service, and high client satisfaction may be applicable.

    1. From your Gigs page, simply click on the Gig you wish to translate.

    2. On the right-hand side column, you'll find the option to "Edit Translation."

    3. Clicking this will open a new tab on your Gig page, displaying editable fields for your Gig title, description, FAQs, price packages, and gallery details (for videos and images only).

  • You can activate or deactivate the translation of the Gig. Deactivating the translation option will add an automatic translation to a specific Gig, rather than a manual one.

    1. From the freelancer view, open the 'Gigs' management page.
    2. Select the desired Gig and click ‘Edit’.
    3. Once the Gig translations are completed, a notification will appear indicating that these translations are going through the approval and review process.
    4. After the translation is approved, it will appear as active next to the language.

Note: Keep in mind that the Gig can be edited after it has been approved. The same review process will be applied if this is edited once more.
