All about Order Completion

Disclaimer: We’ve updated our Cancellation Policy. The new policy went into effect on October 3, 2022.

Completed orders are such a huge part of being a successful seller, and we’re here to help you succeed even further.
Let’s take a deeper dive into how Order Completion works and our updated Cancellation Policy.

About Completed Orders

Completed Orders are Gig Orders that are completed without cancellations, and are how sellers grow their businesses on Fiverr.

Order Completion refers to the successful conclusion of a Gig order—a buyer receives and approves the service that they've purchased from a seller.

How your Order Completion Rate affects your Seller Level

When it comes to your Seller Level, part of your performance evaluation is based on your Order Completion Rate.
You can calculate your Order Completion Rate with the following formula shown below.
Note: Remember to use your order statistics for the last 60 days.

Keep a steady OCR to build relationships with buyers and grow your business.
Your OCR also enables you to track the quality of the service you’re providing and influence your Gig’s position in the search rankings.

About your Order Completion Rate

When evaluating a seller, all cancellations are taken into account. We are aware that some cancellations are inevitable and those cancellations have a lower impact on your performance score—which is why we've enhanced how the Order Completion Rate works.

How your Order Completion Rate is calculated

The Order Completion formula is the rate/percentage of the completed orders out of all of the orders placed from your buyers, where the last update (cancellation/completion) was in the past 60 days.

Please note: There has been a recent update to order calculation. Learn more about it below.

Why your Order Completion Rate is important

Keeping a strong Order Completion Rate (OCR) is important, because completing as many orders as possible is the way to gain revenue, build relationships with buyers, and grow your business.

This is also a great way for you to track the quality of the service you’re providing on Fiverr, and can also be a factor that influences your Gig’s position in search rankings.

Order Completion Rate policy

We've recently updated the OCR policy.

Previously, the formula included the lifetime history of orders. Now, it refreshes in real-time, and only factors in the last 60 days of your account’s activity.

Please note: Your cancellation rate is only visible to you.

Cancellations that won't affect your Order Completion Rate

While cancellations typically affect your Order Completion Rate, we’ve updated our Cancellation Policy to include special instances that won’t affect your OCR.

In order to cancel an order without affecting your OCR, your buyer will need to cancel and order again from you within 14 days.
