As a part of our ongoing efforts to increase the overall marketplace quality, Fiverr may require freelancers to take skill tests to verify their listed skills.
Freelancers must take the skill test as part of the Gig creation process if their Gig is located in one of the required categories.

- Test must be completed to publish a Gig in the required categories.
- These tests only appear at the end of the Gig creation process in the required categories and can't be accessed otherwise.
- If the freelancer does not take the tests or fails one, their Gig will remain in their drafts until they have successfully passed the test.

- The passing score is 70%.
- The test scores will not appear on a freelancer's public profile, however, freelancers can choose to show their skills on their public profile.
FAQs
- There is a one-day waiting period between test retakes. You may only take a test twice within a three-month period.
- In some categories, you are required to take a test to publish a Gig.
- This test is best viewed using Internet Explorer version 11.0 or higher, Mozilla Firefox 45.0 or higher, or Google Chrome 48 or higher.

How the grading system works:
a. To pass a skill test, you are required to answer a minimum of 60% - 80% of the questions correctly.
b. Your percentile is defined dynamically, based on other test-takers.
c. The time it takes you to complete the test is tracked.
