When you receive an order, you can offer the client additional services within the active order. For example, if a client orders your basic logo package, you can message them to suggest upgrades such as higher-resolution files, additional revisions, or custom stationery.
How to offer extras
- Select Orders from the My Business tab.
Note: You can access your orders in several ways, such as through emails, dasboard or notifications. - Click on the Message button located on the right side of the screen, under the client’s username.
- An Inbox conversation panel will open: Click on Offer Extras at the bottom of this panel.
- Within the list of extra services you provide in your Gig, select a service, the quantity, and the number of days you'll add to the delivery date.
- If you would like to add a custom service not listed in your Gig, click Add custom extra, then enter a description, the amount you charge, and the number of days to deliver.
- When finished, click Send.
- The client will be notified and may choose to accept the offer and pay, decline it, or request changes. You can also withdraw the offer. You will be notified whenever the order status changes.
Notes:
- If the offer is accepted, the order delivery time will be updated.
- Keep in mind the days are added to the original delivery date, not the current date.
- If the order has already been delivered and the client purchases the custom extras, the order's status will revert to In progress, meaning you'll have to meet the original delivery date again.
