Custom offers

Custom offers are about being proactive: offer your customized services to potential clients.

Creating a custom offer

Note: Milestone and subscription custom offers are not available in all categories.

  1. Once logged in, go to your messages and click 'See All in Inbox'.
  2. Select a conversation to send a custom offer, then click 'Create an offer'.
  3. Select a Gig and choose an order type:
    • Single payment
    • Subscriptions
    • Milestones
  4. Select a package. The template will populate with package details. Customize based on the client's requests.

Example: Offer an expiry date and a number of revisions (optional).
  5. Click "Send offer".

Custom subscription offers

Note: This feature is being introduced and is not yet available to all Fiverr users.

  •
    • Helps you grow your business and income by getting repeat orders.
    • Improve your visibility, reputation, and increase your conversion rate—learn about repeat business scores.
  • Subscriptions can be offered for up to 6 months, at the subscription price (from $5) you choose, and at your chosen schedule:
    • Daily subscription: Orders can recur every 5 to 29 days.
    • Weekly subscription: Order can recur every 1 to 7 weeks.
    • Monthly subscription: Order can recur every 1-2 months.

Custom milestone offers

  •
    • Manage complex projects.
    • Get paid for project tasks as you complete them.
    • Build trust with your clients as they approve each milestone step.
  • Each milestone project can have up to 5 steps. You need to give each step a name and description.

Example: Animated Explainers category, 'Storyboard' step: Set the delivery time and price per step. For final delivery, submit all steps.

Custom hourly offers

  •
    • Expanding your service offerings.
    • Adapting to client needs.
    • Building trust and long-term relationships.
    • Hassle-free payment process.
  • Set up an hourly offer including the following:

    a. Hourly rate
    b. Add a weekly hour limit according to what is discussed with the client (optional): It’s recommended to communicate with the client the expected amount of hours you plan to work each week to increase transparency and project alignment.

Note: the client will be able to change the weekly limit once the order is placed.

    c. Time estimation on the work: Provide the client with an estimated total number of hours (minimum of 8 hours) for the project. This transparency can help increase trust.

    d. Custom offer expiration (optional).

Custom payment options

Choose either subscription or milestones; they cannot be combined into the same order. Suggest a payment option based on the information given by the client:

  • Use for simple deliveries that can be completed in 1 step.
  • Use this option when a client wants to make repeat orders—set a price and delivery schedule that fits the client’s needs.
  • Use this option for complex projects—the client will approve each project step.

In all cases:

  • Once you receive all the needed info, disable the 'Ask for Gig Requirements' option. Then, once the client accepts your custom offer, the order starts automatically
  • Clients can't accept custom offers if your 'Set your availability' status is set to “pause”. Your client will receive a pop up letting them know that you are unavailable and there is no option to accept the custom offer.
