What is an AI Personal Assistant?
This AI-powered personal assistant trains on freelancer data and provides integrated AI chat to facilitate new client communications and improve order efficiency.
Freelancers can purchase the Personal Assistant (PA) subscription to handle all pre-order communication.
Note: This product is available to Level 2 and above and Seller Plus Premium freelancers.

How it works
- The Personal Assistant learns from multiple data points, including freelancer information (skills, services, etc.), Gig details, and past conversations, to provide accurate answers based on the freelancer's data.
- Freelancers can fine-tune the assistant and configure when and how it will work.
- The Personal Assistant supports multiple languages, including English (default), Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, and many more.
- The Personal Assistant does not learn from personal account data.
Getting started
Activation
You can activate the Personal Assistant through the following. Note that the PA will only be active for new clients, not returning or repeat clients.
- You can access this via your freelancer dashboard.
- A new button in the header’s envelope icon directs you to the Personal Assistant settings page.
- If you qualify but haven’t enabled the Personal Assistant, an activation prompt will appear at the start of conversations.

The Personal Assistant is listed in the 'Benefit Center', which is accessible on the level overview page.
Functionality
- When the Personal Assistant is active, the freelancer’s auto-replies are disabled to avoid duplicate responses.
Tip: To turn the Personal Assistant on or off, go to your Fiverr Go Hub, click the ellipsis (...), and select "Pause" or "Activate Assistant." - When the freelancer is "Out of office," the Personal Assistant automatically turns off and stops responding to client messages.
- The freelancer gets a notification when the Personal Assistant calls them to join based on set settings, or when a client requests to speak with the freelancer.

If a freelancer disables their Personal Assistant, all ongoing conversations that it was handling will be transferred to their inbox for the freelancer to take over. Turning it off does not affect the freelancer’s Personal Assistant subscription, billing, or settings. Additionally, pausing the PA will not interrupt an active conversation (to ensure a positive user experience) but will affect any new ones. Freelancers can set their Personal Assistant’s availability based on the following settings:

Always (24/7): The Personal Assistant responds at all times.

When you're offline: The Personal Assistant replies only when you’re not online.

Custom schedule: Set specific days and hours, keeping in mind that you can only set one time slot per day.

Client Type: Choose which clients the Personal Assistant won't respond to. (For example, not responding to Pro clients.)

- Freelancers can only toggle the Personal Assistant on or off using the mobile app. All other settings must be completed on a desktop.
- Personal Assistant responses do not impact your response time or performance metrics in Fiverr’s Level system and Success Score.
- While initial training limits you to 5 messages, after activation, you'll have a 50-message daily limit.
Knowledge base
To refine your Personal Assistant's responses, use the Knowledge base.
Steps to access and edit the Knowledge base:
- Open the Fiverr Go Hub > My Personal Assistant tab.
- Open the menu and choose 'Settings'.
- Choose the 'Knowledge base' tab and edit the Personal Assistant insights.
The Knowledge base contains both general and Gig-specific information, ensuring accurate and relevant responses. You can continuously improve your assistant by editing these insights.
After making adjustments, click "Save Changes" to update the assistant's responses or "Restore Default" to revert to the original insights.
The assistant will also learn from your edits over time, improving its accuracy. The Knowledge Base is for finding information, not for changing how the Personal Assistant system operates. Users can't use it to control or override platform features, workflows, or system settings.
Tip: Fine-tune your replies by adding custom instructions such as, 'Each time someone asks X, please say Y.'
Monthly subscriptions
Eligible Fiverr freelancers can subscribe for $29/month as a standalone service or get it for free as part of the Seller Plus Premium plan. To begin, your initial payment will be processed via credit card or PayPal. Subsequently, we will automatically deduct future payments from your available account balance. If your balance is insufficient, we will charge you directly. You won't need to manually update your payment method in your subscription settings; this process is fully automated.
- Successful payment will lead to the PA settings page.
- Canceling the PA subscription will take place at the end of the billing cycle and the monthly subscription fee is not refundable.
- Canceling the Seller Plus Premium subscription (or downgrading to Standard) will disable access to the PA. Freelancers will still have access to past conversations which can be found in their inbox.
- If the freelancer changes their subscription from a stand alone product to Seller Plus Premium, it will take effect immediately. A refund will be issued for the unused days.
For example, if they upgraded to Seller plus premium, 10 days before the end of the billing cycle, they’ll receive ($29/30 days in the month*10 days left)= $9.7

The Personal Assistant uses three primary knowledge sources to learn how to answer prospective clients’ questions:

Chat history
The Personal Assistant will use this information to understand what services you offer, what orders you have completed in the past, and how to answer your frequently asked questions and provide answers based on your history and tone of voice. Remember, you have full control over how to set up your Personal Assistant.

- Fiverr implements various organizational and technical measures to protect your data and how we use it, as detailed in Fiverr’s Privacy Policy. The Personal Assistant only uses your profile, Gig and chat history for responses.
- All conversations are saved and are accessible via the inbox and AI Hub on the freelancer’s dashboard. Freelancers can also see clients’ conversations live and jump in if they want to.
A conversation summary is generated if the client decides to speak directly to the freelancer, or the PA determines the freelancer's involvement is needed.
Additionally, if the freelancer is unable to join the conversation, or if the chat goes unanswered after a period of time, or if the client wasn't directed to converse with the freelancer, a follow-up message is generated.

- When activated, the Personal Assistant instantly replies to new clients, gathers initial requirements, and answers common questions about your services and pricing. If a client has a complex inquiry, requests a custom offer, or wants to speak with you directly, the Personal Assistant will notify you and hand over the conversation. You can customize its behavior in your settings.
- Yes, completely. The Personal Assistant learns from your Gig details, FAQs, and past conversations to provide responses that match your unique style and offerings. Over time, it improves based on your interactions. You always have the option to fine-tune your assistant, configure it and specify it in a way that will be tailored to you and to your business.
- Yes, your assistant is trained using your Gig details, FAQs, past conversations, and custom Q&A responses. While you can’t manually control every reply, you can retrain it and configure it as often as needed to refine its responses. However, you can't change the core behavior of the PA. For example, you can't make it offer packages.
- Yes, if you remain eligible for Seller Plus Premium, you are also eligible for the Personal Assistant. In case you lose your eligibility for any reason, you will be notified about it.
- You can set a custom name for the assistant. However, the avatar is pre-set by Fiverr and cannot be changed.
- The Personal Assistant analyzes up to 12 months / 1000 past interactions from the date you start to train it.
