Getting started with your book publishing experience

The process is designed to help you publish your book easily with an experience tailored to your book's needs.

Entering the experience: You can trigger the guided flow by searching for book-related terms (like "Book Design" or "Book Editing"), clicking on "Book Publishing" categories, or selecting "Book Publishing" cards on the homepage. Once in the experience, you will need to:

  1. Complete the questionnaire: When the pop-up appears, answer three key questions to help create an experience tailored to your requirements.

  2. Browse relevant freelancers: You will land on a dedicated book publishing area showing freelancer results who specialize in your specific needs.

  3. Filter and adjust results: Use filters to refine your results even more by including keywords, subgenres, your budget, or timeline.
  4. Send custom request: Once you’ve found freelancers who fit your needs, click on Send custom request, and we will transform your needs into structured requirements with mandatory and optional fields (such as word count, genre, or format type) that are then sent to them directly. Freelancers will review your request and get back to you through the inbox.

  5. Manage and expand your book project: Switch between “Editing,” “Design,” and “Promotion” to continue hiring the right talent at each stage. You can do all this while staying within the context of your project.

  • To begin a new book project, simply update the filters and adjust the project requirements within your current book creation page. Once you modify the details, you’ll receive a refreshed set of results tailored to your new project needs.
