Fiverr agencies

Fiverr agencies give established companies a dedicated space on the platform to showcase their team, services, and expertise, making it easier for clients to find the right partner for large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects. This article explains what a Fiverr agency is, how to apply, and exactly what you need to complete your agency profile.

Eligibility & how to apply

Who can apply?

An agency on Fiverr is a company that employs a team of professionals with diverse skills and experience, offering a broad range of services and solutions. Unlike individual freelancers, agencies can manage multiple high-scale projects and clients simultaneously, with the capacity to scale up as demand grows.

  1. A team of at least 3 in-house professionals
  2. An active presence in one of the eligible categories
  3. A solid online presence and the capacity to handle high-scale projects

Agencies are currently open to these categories only: Digital Marketing, Programming & Tech, Graphics & Design, Video and Animation, and Business. Additional categories will be added over time.

How to apply

Fiverr runs a thorough vetting process to ensure the quality and reliability of agencies on the platform. Here is how it works:

  1. Invitations are sent to users who meet the current eligibility criteria.
  2. You fill out the application form.
  3. Qualified applicants are invited to create their agency from the profile self-view page.
  4. After you complete onboarding, your agency details are carefully reviewed by the Fiverr team.
  5. You are notified whether your agency is approved and live, or whether minor adjustments are needed to finalize your profile.

Completing your agency profile

Once you are invited to create your agency, you will complete an onboarding form. All onboarding fields are mandatory. You do have the option to save your progress and return to complete the form later.

The section below summarizes each field, what is required, and tips for getting it right.

  • Requirement

    Your official agency name.

    Tip

Use the name clients will recognize. This will appear on your agency card and page.

  • Requirement

The year your agency was founded.

    Tip

Must reflect when the agency itself was established, not when you joined Fiverr.

  • Requirement

The primary industry your agency specializes in. Search and choose from the drop-down.

    Tip

Select at least 3 industries for the best visibility. Multiple selections are allowed.

  • Requirement

    Choose from: 3–9, 10–49, 50–249, or more than 250.

    Tip

This should reflect your full in-house team size.

  • Requirement

A description of your agency and the services you provide.

    Tip

Write about the agency, not you as an individual. Include fields of expertise, experience, achievements, tools, and partnerships. A summarized version appears on your agency card in search results.

  • Requirement

Upload your agency logo or brand image.

    Tip

This appears on your agency card. It should represent your agency brand and be different from your cover photo.

  • Requirement

Upload a visual image for the top of your agency page.

    Tip

Size: 1280 x 776 px, 72 dpi. Keep text under 30% of the image surface. Do not include service descriptions, ratings, reviews, or credentials. Use high-quality images only.

  • Requirement

Add at least 3 team members. Up to 9 are allowed.

    Tip

Organize by seniority. Include full names, roles, and profile photos (clear portrait, neutral background, single person, not cropped or blurry). Describe each member's experience, skills, and expertise.

  • Requirement

Select your agency type from the available categories, then choose at least 2 service sub-categories.

    Tip

Services appear on your profile page, not in the Skills section. Your individual Gig skills remain unaffected and can still be edited from the self-view page.

The Services section on your agency profile is separate from the Skills section on your individual Gigs. Adding or updating services here will not affect the skills listed on your existing Gigs.

Cover photo guidelines

Your cover photo is the banner image at the top of your agency page. It is the first visual impression clients get, so make it count. Follow these guidelines:

  • Image size: 1280 x 776 px, 72 dpi
  • Text: no more than 30% of the image surface
  • Content: visual representation only — no service descriptions, ratings, reviews, work experience, or credentials
  • Quality: high-resolution images only
  • Must be different from your profile image

Team member photo guidelines

Each team member's photo should meet these standards:

  • Clear portrait with a neutral background
  • Single person only (no group shots)
  • Face should not be cropped
  • No busy or cluttered backgrounds
  • High quality — no blurry or pixelated images

Benefits of becoming a Fiverr Agency

Registering as an agency on Fiverr unlocks a number of advantages over a standard freelancer profile:

Visibility & discovery

  • Your agency is eligible to appear in dedicated sections where Fiverr suggests clients order from agencies.
  • Clients can use the "Seller type" filter to search for agencies specifically, making it easier for the right clients to find you.
  • Your freelancer profile becomes a full agency page that includes your team members, services, and agency description — all in one place.

Operational benefits

  • Agencies often work on large projects that require upfront alignment. The book-a-meeting feature lets you schedule a free video meeting with prospective clients before the order begins. If you have the paid consultation feature active on your account, it will automatically revert to a free meeting.
  • Your orders, Gigs, chats, and reviews carry over when you switch to an agency profile. The only things that change are your profile page layout and how you appear in search results.

What changes & what stays the same

Switching to an agency profile does not reset your Fiverr history. Here is a clear breakdown:

  • What stays the same when you switch to an agency profile:
    • All existing orders
    • Gigs
    • Chats and inbox
    • Reviews and ratings
    • Financial / earnings page
  • What changes when you switch to an agency profile:
    • Your profile page (becomes an agency page)
    • How you appear in search results (agency card instead of Gig card)

Best practices

  1. Write your agency description as a business, not as an individual. Mention your fields of expertise, experience, tools, partnerships, awards, and what makes your agency different.
  2. Organize your team members by seniority and use professional portrait photos. This builds client trust before they even read a word.
  3. Select at least 3 industries in the Industry field to maximize discoverability.
  4. Keep your cover photo visual and brand-focused. Avoid using it as a second profile description.
  5. Use the free meeting tool proactively. For large projects, a short alignment call before the order starts reduces misunderstandings and protects both sides.
  6. Check back on eligible categories regularly. Fiverr is expanding the agency program and your category may become available soon.

FAQs

  • Digital Marketing, Programming & Tech, Graphics & Design, Video and Animation, and Business. More categories will be added over time.

  • Yes. Your orders, Gigs, chats, and reviews all remain unchanged when you switch to an agency profile. Only your profile page and appearance in search results will change.

  • You can switch back, but if you later want to become an agency again, you may need to go through the full onboarding process from the beginning.
  • No. The Services section on your agency profile is separate from the Skills section on your Gigs. Your Gig skills remain unchanged and can still be edited from the self-view page.
