    • Minimum: 712 x 430 px

  • If you’re using a Mac, use Preview. On Windows, use Photo Gallery. Other free tools are available online.

  • Use sharp, clear, high-resolution, and eye-catching images that stand out to potential clients. Avoid blurry, pixelated, stretched, or “squished” images.
  • Keeping it simple is best, and for that reason, you can upload more than one image (up to three).
  • Only use images that you have permission to use.
  • Clickbait or misleading content can be frustrating for potential clients, and even lower your ranking in search results and damage a Gig’s reputation. Be sure to only use images that accurately represent your service and directly relate to the service provided.
  • You're encouraged to use a picture of yourself for your Gig image. When doing so, ensure it's high-quality, well-lit, and in focus. The goal is a visually pleasing, easy-to-understand image that aligns with Fiverr's Community Standards.

    Photo Guidelines:

    • Authenticity: Take a front-facing photo of yourself. Do not misrepresent yourself in any way.
    • Quality:

      • Use a basic, clean background.

      • Ensure good, clear lighting so you and the background are easily visible. Avoid dark or blurry/pixelated images.

    • Orientation & Size:

      • Use horizontal (landscape) mode.

      • Crop the image to the correct proportions.

      • Recommended image size: 1280x769 px, 72 DPI.

      • Minimum: 712x430 px

      • Maximum: 4000x2416 px

Note: This information applies only to Gig images and not to your freelancer profile. Remember, a high-quality photo helps convey that you provide high-quality work!

  • Gig images must directly relate to the service provided—random images can damage a Gig's reputation and lower editorial pick possibility.
  • Remember, keep it simple. Avoid repeating text that’s already somewhere else in your Gig card.
  • If you have more than one Gig, choose unique images and texts for each image.
  • Your Gig gallery is often a client’s first impression, so make it count. A polished, relevant gallery can boost your credibility, attract the right traffic, and increase conversions. You can include up to three images, one video, and two PDFs.

    Best practices:

    • Use high-quality visuals that clearly represent your service.

    • Tailor content to your niche—for example, show logo variations for design, code screenshots for development, or resume samples for career services.

    • Show real examples of your work (with permission, if needed).

    • Keep it clean and professional—avoid clutter or off-topic visuals.

    • For videos, explain your process, highlight your strengths, and speak directly to clients. Keep it short, clear, and engaging.

Smart, relevant tagging improves search visibility and helps Fiverr connect you with the right audience!

  • Make your Gig easier to find by using a file name that’s clear and relevant. This can be valuable for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) so your Gig can be found in search results.
  • If you’d like to use a photo of yourself, feel free to do so, we encourage authenticity. Make sure any image of yourself is clear, displays your face, and follows Fiverr’s standards.
  • Ex. Adult material or hate speech. Learn more with Fiverr's Community Standards.
  • Fiverr automatically includes badges for you, so there is no need to add additional Fiverr logos, rating, seller level, or any other badges to your Gigs—this will flag your Gig and will be removed.
  • Do not use any private information on your Gig images—including contact information. This applies to both individual and business information of you or the client, and all communication should take place within Fiverr.
  • Gig images must meet Fiverr's Terms of Service and Fiverr's Community Standards. If your Gig doesn’t meet the policies’ standards (ex. offensive content, adult material, hate speech, etc.), it will be removed.
  • Image usage rights

Do not use logos of other companies or platforms without owner consent or license holder permission. Learn more with  Fiverr's Terms of Service for each logo.

    Clear and easy to read

Keep your Gig images clean and simple by not overcrowding them with too many logos or text.

If you choose to include text, make sure it’s easy to read.

    • Add up to 10 words for your text, but not more than that
    • Add up to 5 graphics/logos of relevant platforms (ex. social media)
    • The color of your text/graphics should be darker than the background color, or much lighter than the background color (otherwise it will be hard to read the text)
