Guidelines
Here's what you need to know when creating your display name, including requirements, best practices, and specific examples.
- Best practice: We recommend using your first name and the initial of your last name.
- For instance, if your name is Daniel Zee and you go by Danny, consider "Daniel Z" or "Danny Z".
Following this best practice establishes a sense of trust even before a project begins. Choosing a display name that reflects your real identity is important for users to clearly know who they're working with. We recommend avoiding misleading names that may affect how other users perceive you in the marketplace.
