Some Gig categories on Fiverr are reserved for hand-vetted freelancers who have been reviewed and approved by the Fiverr team. If you are eligible, you can create Gigs in these categories and stand out in a marketplace where only qualified freelancers can offer these services.
Before you begin
- You must apply and be approved by the Fiverr team to create Gigs in vetted-only categories.
- The evaluation process may take up to four weeks.
- If you have not been evaluated yet, you can apply here.
- Unapproved freelancers will see the relevant services greyed out and disabled on the Create a Gig page.
How the evaluation works
To become eligible, you go through an evaluation process performed by the Fiverr team. The team reviews your qualifications, past work experience, and performance on the Fiverr platform. When the review is complete, you receive a message in your email about your approval status.
The evaluation process differs from one service to another, based on the required skill, diploma, experience, and education.
After you apply
Your Gig remains active while your application is under review. Once the review is complete, one of the following outcomes applies:
If your application is approved
- The relevant service is activated and you can create new Gigs in the vetted-only category.
- If you already have an existing Gig in the relevant category, our team automatically reviews it and updates you if any action is needed.
If your application is not approved
- Your existing Gigs remain active for 60 days and may then be removed.
- To create Gigs in these categories again, you need to reapply and be approved.
- You can reapply six months after receiving your rejection notice.
Your eligibility status can change at any time, as the review process is ongoing.
Tips for a strong application
Follow these guidelines to improve your chances of approval:
- Double-check your work experience section and highlight your most relevant skills and achievements.
- Include links to your online professional presence, such as a portfolio or website. This is required.
- Include both extensive and relevant reviews with files. Make sure any screen recordings you submit are clear and easy to view.
- Submit a video that includes a short bio covering your professional experience and a project you have successfully completed. This is required.
- Provide your education information, including supporting documents such as degrees or certificates.
- Agree to Fiverr's Terms of Service, which is required to offer services in vetted-only categories.
