To meet the growing demand for high-quality services from skilled freelancers, we've created specific Gig categories featuring hand-vetted freelancers approved by the Fiverr team.
Eligibility
Eligible freelancers will be able to create Gigs in these specific categories once they’ve been approved by the Fiverr team’s evaluation process.

How it works
Freelancers who have not been evaluated and approved will not be able to create new Gigs in the categories designated for vetted freelancers. When creating a new Gig, the relevant services will be grayed out and disabled on the 'Create a Gig' page.
To become a vetted and approved freelancer, you undergo an evaluation process performed by the Fiverr team. Our team will review and evaluate your qualifications, past work experience, and performance on the Fiverr platform. When you’re approved or denied, you’ll receive a message about your status.
If your application is approved, your Gig(s) will remain active and you will be able to create new Gigs. However, if your application is denied, we will remove any existing Gigs in these categories.
Upon application approval, the relevant service will be activated. If you already have an existing Gig in the relevant category, we will automatically review your Gig and update you if any action should be taken. If your application is not approved, your existing Gigs will be active for 60 days and then might be removed. To create Gigs in these categories again, you will need to reapply and be approved.
Note: The review process is continuous, and your eligibility status might change at any time. The evaluation process differs from one service to another (based on the required skill, diploma, experience, education, etc.).
Helpful application tips
- Before submitting your application, make sure to double-check your experience section. Highlight your most relevant skills and achievements to showcase your qualifications. Strong experience is key to standing out!
- It is mandatory to include links to your online professional presence (e.g., portfolio, website).
- For optimal impact, include both extensive and relevant reviews with files. Additionally, ensure any screen recordings you submit are clear and easy to view.
- Submitting a video is necessary and it must include a bio such as your professional experience along with a project you’ve successfully completed.
- Provide your education information, including supporting documents such as degrees or certificates.
- Agreeing to our Terms of Service is essential for eligibility to provide services in exclusive areas reserved for top freelancers.

Before the approval process
- The evaluation process may take up to 4 weeks.

Freelancers who haven’t been approved won’t be able to create new Gigs in the relevant areas reserved for eligible freelancers. To offer services in these areas, you can apply for approval to create Gigs in the relevant category.
- Your Gig will remain active during the evaluation process. If you didn’t apply or had your application declined, your Gig may be removed 60 days after the first notification.
- Your visibility won’t be directly affected. However, since only approved freelancers will be able to offer their services in the marketplace, having vetted-only categories will help you increase credibility and potentially your sales, as well.
- There isn’t a specific profile badge for being vetted and approved. Since all relevant categories are enabled for approved freelancers only, clients will already know that you’re qualified for the relevant subcategory/service.
After the approval process
- Each service has a different evaluation process. You’ll need to apply for each vetted-only service and/or subcategory—even if you were already approved for a separate service.
- Yes, you can re-apply 6 months after you’ve received your rejection notice.
- Yes. Since the Fiverr team will continue to evaluate your performance, your eligibility status might change.
- If you lose your vetted freelancer status, then your active Gigs and eligibility for the relevant services will be removed immediately. You can reapply after 6 months.
